About the End Streamline Coalition

The End Streamline Coalition was founded in January 2013 as an association of individuals and organizations concerned about the initiation of Operation Streamline in Tucson in 2008. We seek the decriminalization of migration, an end to all illegal entry and re-entry prosecutions, an end to the practices of incarcerating and of “detaining” immigrants, an end to private-prison profiteering from mass incarceration, and principled immigration reform that addresses the root causes of migration and refuses to concede to provisions that would increase criminalization of migrants in the future in exchange for legalizing undocumented community members now.
